A old fashion recipe but good for your best company you can mix it up in no time .I serve it on a peach with walnuts.

Ingredients For walnut and raisin rice pudding on a peach

  • 2 c
    cooked and cooled rice
  • 2 lg
    eggs
  • 2 c
    half and half
  • 1/2 c
    +2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp
    nutmeg
  • 1 pinch
    salt
  • 1/3 c
    raisins
  • 2 Tbsp
    chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 tsp
    pure vanilla extract
  • 2 Tbsp
    softened butter
  • 29oz. can
    peach halfs

How To Make walnut and raisin rice pudding on a peach

  • 1
    Pre-heat oven 350 degrees. Rub a 8x8 glass dish with the softened butter. Spread rice in dish sprinkle evenly raisins then walnuts over .

    In medium bowl -Stir cinnamon, salt ,nutmeg in with sugar whisk in milk, eggs ,and vanilla until sugar is dissolved ,pour over rice.

    Place 8x8 dish in larger dish add very hot water slowly half way up . Bake 65 minutes. serve hot or cold on a well drained peach sprinkle more nuts on if you like.
