Ingredients For strawberry bread pudding with a strawberry drizzle

  • 4
    eggs
  • 2 c
    milk
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1/4 c
    brown sugar
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1 tsp
    nutmeg
  • 4 can
    cubed day old french bread
  • 1 c
    sliced fresh strawberries
  • DRIZZLE
  • 2 c
    chopped fresh strawberries
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 2 c
    water
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1 Tbsp
    butter

How To Make strawberry bread pudding with a strawberry drizzle

    Heat Oven to 350. Then mix together eggs, milk, sugars, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg. Then add cubed bread and mix until covered. Then add fresh strawberries. Pour into a prepared 9x9 square pan and bake for 30 mins or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

    For the Drizzle combine all ingredients in a sauce pan and bring to a boil. Then turn down to med and simmer, stirring frequently for 20 mins. Remove and strain and set aside.

    Let the bread pudding cool for 5-10 mins then serve with drizzle. Vanilla Ice cream or whipped cream on top is also yummy.
