This is so simple and so good. I got it from a friend who was from England. It is perfect for me since I am allergic to all poultry. Even if I wasn't I would still love it.

Ingredients For rice pudding (no eggs)

  • 8 Tbsp
    rice, uncooked
  • 7 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 1 pt
    table cream or half and half
  • 1 pt
    milk
  • 3 Tbsp
    butter
  • nutmeg

How To Make rice pudding (no eggs)

  • 1
    Put rice, sugar, cream and milk in a two quart casserole pan and stir together.

    Slice the butter and dot the top of the mixture with the butter. Shake ground or freshly grated nutmeg on top. You can use quite a bit of nutmeg, it just makes it better.

    Bake at 300 for 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Enjoy!
