The traditional southern banana pudding uses vanilla pudding but I prefer banana.

Ingredients For banana pudding my way

  • 2 (3.4 oz. pkg
    instant banana pudding mix
  • 3 c
    milk
  • 30
    vanilla wafers cookies
  • 3
    bananas, sliced
  • 8 oz
    cool whip

How To Make banana pudding my way

    Mix pudding mixes and milk. Beat with a whisk for 2 minutes. Let Stand 5 minutes.

    In a 2 qt. bowl, place half the wafers on the bottom and up sides.

    Top with half the banana slices.
  • 4
    Then add half the pudding on top of that. Repeat all the layers.

    Cover the top with Cool Whip.Cover and chill at least 2 hours.
