    Hawaiian Rolls, dried out a bit, I use the oven to dry them
  • 10 lg
    eggs
  • 6 c
    heavy cream
  • 1 can
    apple pie filling (21 oz)
  • 1 1/2 c
    granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1 tsp
    grated ginger
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla extract, make sure you use real vanilla
  • pinch
    salt

This makes a very large serving. We used a 9x13 deep lasagna pan. We sliced the rolls down the center, opened them, and let them dry slightly before using them. Also, we sliced the apple pie filling into smaller chunks to distribute better throughout the bread pudding.
