2 ccooked sweet potatoes

1-1/2 csugar

1/2stick butter, melted

2eggs

1/4 tspsalt

2 tspvanilla extract

1well rounded tsp. cinnamon

1/4 tspground ginger

1/2 tspnutmeg

1 cmilk

How To Make southern sweet potato pie

1Preheat oven to 350. Combine the potatoes, sugar, butter, eggs, vanilla, salt, and spices. Mix thoroughly. Add the milk and continue to mix. Pour the filling into a pie crust and bake for 35 to 45 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Baking time may vary based on your oven. Place the pie on a rack and cool.

3NOTE: I would NOT use canned yams for this recipe. I would bake sweet potatoes and mash them.
