Recipe given to me by my mother-in-law, one of the best cooks I know. She swears you cannot goof this recipe up and and always turns out perfect.

3 cflour

1 1/4 cshortening

1 tspsalt

1egg, well beaten

8 Tbspwater

1 Tbspvinegar

1 tspsugar (optional)
How To Make never fail pie crust

1Cut shortening in flour and salt.

2Combine egg, water and vinegar. Pour over flour mixture all at once.

3Blend until moistened. May be rerolled

4Keeps two weeks in refrigerator.
