Peanut butter is a staple in our house, especially for Stephanie! I have been making this pie for years and it always meets with oohs and aahs at parties and family events.

Yum, oh yum! This pie is creamy peanut butter goodness. We taste-tested the recipe with a chocolate crust and we highly recommend the chocolate/peanut butter combination. In this pie, you have a creamy peanut butter filling with a layer of fluffy cream on top, sprinkled with chopped salted peanuts for crunch and a hint of salt to compliment the sweetness. Simple and quick to make, this pie is completely unpretentious, yet completely delicious.

4 ozsoftened cream cheese

1/2 ptwhipping cream or small container of Cool Whip topping

3/4 cpeanut butter (chunky or creamy works)

1baked 8-inch pastry shell or one 8-inch chocolate cookie crust
How To Make mom's incredibly easy peanut butter pie

1Cream together the sugar and cream cheese in a large bowl.

2Add the whipped cream or Cool Whip and peanut butter.

3Mix until smooth.

4Pour the batter into the pie crust.

5Chill for 1 hour.

6Top with more whipped cream.

7Add chopped peanuts, if desired.

8I always like to add mini Reese's peanut butter cups cut in half around the edges if using a chocolate crust.
