Ingredients For jean's holiday pie

  • 1 can
    sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 c
    lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp
    almond extract
  • 2 1/2 c
    tart cherries, drained
  • 1 c
    pecans, in pieces
  • 1 pt
    whipping cream
  • 4 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 2 pkg
    graham crackers
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 c
    butter

How To Make jean's holiday pie

    To make pie crust, use 1 package graham crackers, 1/4 cup sugar & 1/4 cup butter for each. Put graham crackers in zip lock bag & crush with rolling pin. Put graham crackers & sugar & butter in pie pan. Mix. Use fork, press crumbles in pan & up sides. Put in refrigerator.

    Combine milk & juice, add extract, cherries and nuts. Reserve some cherries for garnish.

    Whip the cream with the sugar & fold into the fruit mixture.

    Put fruit mixture in shells and garnish with cherries & pecans.

    Refrigerate 16-24 hours.
