Ingredients For fresh peach pie

  • 3/4 c
    sugar
  • 3 Tbsp
    flour
  • 1/4 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 5 c
    fresh peaches, sliced
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter
  • 2
    9" pie crusts
  • 1
    egg white, beaten

How To Make fresh peach pie

    Preheat oven 400. Spray inside of a 9" pie plate with cooking spray. Place one crust into the pie plate and spray the inside of the crust, too.

    In bowl add sugar, flour, cinnamon, and salt; stir well. Add sliced peaches to the mixture; stir gently. Pour peach mixture into pie crust and dot with butter. Add top crust, use water to seal while crimping the edges of pie dough together. Poke holes through the top crust all the way to the bottom. With the knife make a dime-size hole in the center of the crust.

    Brush egg white all over the top crust. Sprinkle crust top with 1-2 teaspoons sugar. Place pie on a cookie sheet and bake 40-45 minutes, or until crust is golden brown. You can cover crust edges with foil to prevent burning, and remove the foil last 10 minutes of baking.
