Haven't made this pie in awhile I forgot how easy it is. It's one of my family favorites.

Ingredients For coconut cream pie

1baked pie shell
-
3 lgegg yolks
-
3 Tbspcorn starch [heaping]

1 csugar
-
3 cmilk
-
2 ccoconut
- MERINGUE

5egg whites

1 tspcream of tarter

1 tspvinilla

1/2 csugar
How To Make coconut cream pie

1In sauce pan mix first 4 ingredience

2Cook stiring constantly over medium heat till thick.

3Remove from heat add 2 Tablespoons butter and1 teaspoon vinilla. Stir cover with film let cool. Add coconut.

4Pour into baked pie shell

5Mix meringue ingredients with electric mixer till stiff peaks form.

6Arrange on top of pie. Sprinkle with coconut. Bake at 350 degrees till light brown.
