Ingredients For caramel apple pie

  • crust for 2 crust pie
  • 7 lg
    apples, mcintosh
  • 3/4 c
    sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    flour(heaping)
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp
    nutmeg
  • 1/2 c
    caramel icecream topping (split)
  • 1/8 tsp
    salt
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter

How To Make caramel apple pie

    Prepare bottom crust in pie pan.
  • 2
    Peel and slice apples
  • 3
    Mix together sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.

    Pour over sliced apples, tossing to coat.

    Pour into prepared pie shell .

    Pour half of caramel topping over apple mixture.

    Dot with butter, put top pie crust on. Slit air vents,Flute edges.

    Bake in 350 degree oven for 45 minutes or until apples are tender.
