Ingredients For pumpkin bars with cream cheese topping

1/2 cflour

1/4 cbrown sugar, firmly packed

1/4 cquick oats

2 Tbspchopped walnuts

1 tspcinnamon

1/4 cunsalted butter, melted
- FILLING

1/2 cpumpkin

1/4 cmilk plus 2 tbsp.

1 -1/2 Tbspvanilla

1egg, slightly beaten

3 Tbspsugar

1/4 tspallspice

1/8 tspsalt
- TOPPING

1/4 lbcream cheese, softened

2 Tbsporange marmalade
How To Make pumpkin bars with cream cheese topping

1Crust: Combine the first 4 ingredients and half the cinnamon in the food processor or mixing bowl. Add butter and process until mixture becomes crumbly. Press mixture evenly in bottom of a lightly greased 9 inch square baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Remove from oven.

2Reduce oven temperature to 325 degrees.

3Combine pumpkin, milk, half the vanilla, egg, sugar, allspice , salt and remaining cinnamon in a food processor or mixing bowl and mix thoroughly. Pour over crust and bake 25 minutes. Cool on a rack.

4Using an electric mixer, beat cream cheese, remaining vanilla and orange marmalade until fluffy. Spread evenly over cooled pumpkin bars.
