Ingredients For popcorn balls

  • 2 qt
    popped popcorn
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 c
    water
  • 1/4 c
    light corn syrup
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp
    vanilla

How To Make popcorn balls

  • 1
    Combine together sugar, water, corn syrup and vinegar. Stir over heat until sugar dissolves. Cover. Bring to a boil for 3 minutes. Uncover insert candy thermometer. 260 or the hard ball stage. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and food coloring (optional). Pour over popcorn and form into balls.
