6 qtpopped, salted corn

2 stickoleo

1/2 cwhite syrup

2 cbrown sugar

1/4 tspcream of tartar

1 tspsalt

1 tspbaking soda
How To Make maybelle connealy carmel popcorn

1Take oleo, white syrup and brown sugar.

2Mix and bring to boil stirring. Cook 6 min. on low heat stirring.

3Take off stove and add cream of tartar, salt and soda. Stir until foamy.

4Pour on popped corn. Mix. Spread out on greased cookie sheet.

5Put in oven at 200F for 1 hour, stir occasionally.

6Press into balls if you desire.
