Ingredients For warm apple saute with ice cream

  • 3 Tbsp
    butter
  • 4 lg
    apples (cored, peeled and sliced)
  • 1/4 c
    brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp
    nutmeg
  • 1/2 c
    dried cranberries
  • vanilla ice cream

How To Make warm apple saute with ice cream

  • 1
    Preheat a large skillet over medium heat. Add butter and stir until melted. Add apple slices and saute 6 to 8 minutes.

    Add brown sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, nutmeg and dried cranberries. Cook for 2 minutes more.

    Scoop the ice cream into dessert bowls and top with the warm apples. Refrigerate any leftovers. May substitute raisins for cranberries if you prefer.
