I found this recipe in a book I got at a yard sale, I have never heard on one like this one!

Ingredients For frozen orange dessert

  • 1 c
    flour
  • 1 pkg
    coconut cream pudding mix (not instant)
  • 1/2 c
    crisco
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter, softened
  • 1
    egg
  • 2 pkg
    8oz. each cream cheese, softened
  • 3/4 c
    powdered tang orange drink
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 3
    eggs
  • 1 can
    mandarin oranges, drained
  • 2 pkg
    cool whip whipped topping

How To Make frozen orange dessert

    Blend the first 6 ingredients together, to make a crust and spread in a ungreased 9x13 inch pan. Bake at 350* for 12-15 minutes, Cool.

    In a large bowl; combine the cream cheese, tang, and sugar beating 3 minutes until smooth. Add 3 eggs, one at a time beating well, Fold in 2 regular tubs of cool-whip whipped topping and mandarin oranges,
