Ingredients For strawberry cobbler

  • 3 c
    fresh strawberries, stems removed and sliced or diced
  • 3/4 c
    sugar
  • 1 c
    flour
  • 2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 1 stick
    butter, melted

How To Make strawberry cobbler

    Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray a 9-inch pie pan or baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.

    In a medium bowl add strawberries and 3/4 cup sugar; mix with a spoon and let sit.

    In a large bowl whisk flour, baking powder, salt and 1/2 cup sugar to blend well. Add milk and melted butter; mix with a spoon.

    Pour batter into prepared pan and pour strawberries on top. Don't mix. Bake 40 minutes. Serve warm.
