This recipe was given to me by my neighbour many years ago. I used to make it for my son when he was little. It is similar to a cheese cake. But it's not. It's a no bake refrigerated dessert. Great for summer entertaining or for the family. Enjoy

Ingredients For pineapple dessert

1 pint of 14% sour cream

1 pkg vanilla instant pudding 4 portion size (do notmake into a pudding just use straight from the package)

1 tin (14oz) size crushed pineapple drained

1 cup crushed graham wafer crumbs

3 tbsp melted butter or margarine

2 tbsp white sugar
How To Make pineapple dessert

1For the base

2Mix together the graham wafer crumbs, melted butter, and sugar Reserve 1/4 cup of crumbs for the top

3Pack into a buttered 8"X8" inch square pan DO NOT BAKE

4For the Filling
-
5Mix together the sour cream, vanilla instant pudding, crushed pineapple (drained)

6Pour onto graham wafer base

7Sprinkle reserved crumbs over top
-
8Cover with saran wrap and refrigerate until set or overnight
