This recipe was shared by a friend known for her luscious desserts. Although the recipe calls for canned peaches, I prefer to use fresh when they are in season. This is divine served warm with a little vanilla ice cream!

Ingredients For nutty peach crisp

1 canpeaches with juice (29 oz) or 5 - 6 large fresh peaches peeled and sliced

1/2 cpeach nectar

1/2 tspalmond extract

1 boxbutter pecan cake mix

1/2 cbutter, melted
-
1 cflaked coconut
-
1 cpecans, in pieces
How To Make nutty peach crisp

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

2Peel and slice peaches, if using fresh. Add peach nectar and almond extract. Place in a 3 quart or a 9x13 baking dish.

3Add the cake mix on top of the peaches.

4Add the melted butter.

5Add the coconut.

6Then add the pecans.

7Bake for 55 to 60 minutes until topping is golden brown.

8Let stand at least 15 minutes before serving.
