Ingredients For hot blackberries and cream

1 cup sour cream, room temperature

1 tbsp sugar

finely grated zest of 1 lime

1/2 t. ground cinnamon

1 pint fresh blackberries, washed and well drained

1/2 cup lightly packed light or dark brown sugar
How To Make hot blackberries and cream

1Put broiler rack in lowest position so that it is at least 6 inches from top element and heat broiler.

2Mix sour cream, sugar, lime zest and cinnamon in small bowl. Gently fold in blackberries and transfer to small gratin dish. Sprinkle brown sugar on top. Broil til brown sugar melts and caramelizes, 1 to 3 minutes, turning dish halfway through so top browns evenly but does not burn. Serve hot. Serves 4
