easy apple dumplings
These truly are the easiest apple dumplings ever and again...in MY opinion, the very best I have ever had!! I think it's so interesting that it actually involves 7-up and it really adds to the flavor! These are phenomenal! Add a scoop of french vanilla ice cream and enter into paradise!

Ingredients For easy apple dumplings

2 pkg8 oz. crescent rolls

1 cbutter
-
1 1/2 cbrown sugar

1 tspvanilla

1 tspcinnamon
-
1 1/2 c7-up (or other lemon soda)

2granny smith apples (2 apples makes 16 dumplings)
How To Make easy apple dumplings

1Butter a 9x13 baking dish

2Preheat oven to 350

3Peel and core apples, then cut EACH apple into 8 slices.

4Roll each apple slice in a crescent roll and place in the buttered dish.

5Melt butter, stir in sugar, vanilla and cinnamon. When it's thickened, remove from heat and pour over the dumplings.

6Pour the soda in the middle and along the edges of the pan (not over the rolls)

7Bake for 35-45 min. or until they become golden brown.
