cranberry squares
If you never know just what to do with leftover cranberry sauce this is a great recipe. It's an especially nice treat to whip up for overnight family guests the morning after Thanksgiving. Or if you love to use fresh cranberries instead of sauce that's good too.

Ingredients For cranberry squares

2eggs

1 csugar

1 cflour
-
1 tspbaking powder

1/3 cmelted butter

1 cfresh cranberries or 1/2 cup whole cranberry sauce

1 tsporange zest (optional)
How To Make cranberry squares

1Beat eggs for 1 minute. Add sugar and beat for 2 minutes more.

2Whisk in flour, baking powder, and butter.

3Stir in cranberries and orange zest (optional)

4Spread into a greased 8-inch square pan.

5Bake at 350ºF for 30 minutes, or until golden brown. Cool completely before cutting into 16 bars.
