Ingredients For apple turnovers

3 cfresh apples

1/3 cdried cranberries

1/3 clight brown sugar

1/2 tspcinnamon

1 tspcorn starch

1 Tbspcold water

1 1/2 ccrushed lady finger cookies

1/2 ccanola oil

1 pkgphyllo dough sheets
How To Make apple turnovers

1slice apples and put in pan to saute, add cranberries, cinnamon and brown sugar. saute for about 10 minutes.

2meanwhile dissolve cornstarch in cold water, then add to apple mixture, cook until thickened.

3peel apart phyllo dough into separate sheets. using one at a time brush with oil, sprinkle crushed cookies then add another sheet, do this for three sheets.

4make 4 even slice long ways on sheets, place 2 tablespoons apple mix onto one corner of dough, roll up into triangles, brush with oil, refrigerate until you have all of the sheets done.

5bake at 350 for twenty minutes
