Ingredients For toffee almond sandies

1 cbutter, softened

1 csugar
-
1 cconfectioners' sugar

2eggs
-
1 tspalmond extract

3 1/2 call purpose flour

1 cwhole wheat flour

1 tspbaking soda

1 tspcream of tartar

1 tspsalt

2 cchopped almonds

6 ozenglish toffee bits (find with semi sweet chocolate chips)

1 cvegetable oil
- ***PREHEAT OVEN TO 350 DEGREES***
How To Make toffee almond sandies

1In large mixing bowl, cream butter and both sugars using electric mixer. Add oil, eggs and extract mixing well.

2Combine both flours, baking soda, cream of tarter and salt in medium bowl. Gradually add to creamed mixture.

3Stir in almonds and toffee bits.

4Shape into 1 inch balls and roll in granulated sugar.

5Place on an ungreased cookie sheet and flatten with fork.

6Bake at 350 degrees for 12-14 minutes or until lightly browned.
