This recipe comes from a colleague of mine many years ago. I have made these cookies for my family and friends many times. They all love it. It is sinfully good. I hope you will feel the same when you make them. They do not last long and they'll be begging for more believe me.

Ingredients For surprise chocolate chip cookies

1cup of butter/margarine

2cups of brown sugar

3 eggs

5 cups all purpose flour

4tsp baking powder

1cup chocolate chips
-
30 squares of caramilk bars (or 1 square for each cookie)
How To Make surprise chocolate chip cookies

1Cream butter/margarine and sugar together
-
2Add eggs one at a time and beat until mixed

3Combine baking powder with the flour and add to egg mixture. Mix until just moistened

4Add chocolate chips and mix
-
5Dough will be somewhat sticky to handle. Chill in fridge for approximately 1/2 to 1 hr. before rolling

6use a square of a caramilk bar (for each cookie) and form the cookie dough around it and place on a cookie sheet

7Bake for approximately 10-15 minutes in a 350F oven

8let cool 5 minutes before removing from pan
