Ingredients For snickerdoodles

  • 2-3/4 c
    flour
  • 1-1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1 c
    butter, softened
  • 2
    eggs
  • 2 tsp
    cream of tartar
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • SUGAR MIXTURE
  • 3 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 1-1/2 tsp
    cinnamon

How To Make snickerdoodles

  • 1
    Mix butter, 1-1/2 cups sugar and eggs in a large bowl. Combine dry ingredients in a separate bowl. Blend dry ingredients into butter mixture. Chill dough for about 10 to 15 minutes in the fridge.

    Stir together sugar and cinnamon in small bowl.

    Shape dough into 1 -inch balls; roll in sugar mixture. Place 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
