skor cookies

I love Skor bars and chocolate chips, so when I found this recipe I had to try it. It's a family favorite. The cookies stay soft. The original recipe is from The All-New Ultimate Southern Living Cookbook, but I changed a couple of the quantities.

Ingredients For skor cookies

  • 3/4 c
    butter, softened
  • 3/4 c
    granulated sugar
  • 3/4 c
    brown sugar
  • 2
    large eggs
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    vanilla
  • 2 1/4 c
    flour
  • 2 Tbsp
    flour (add to amount above)
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 3/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1 c
    chocolate chips (i use mini chocolate chips)
  • 1/2 c
    toffee bits (skor bits)

How To Make skor cookies

  • 1
    Beat together the butter and both sugars until creamy. Beat in eggs and vanilla.

    Mix in flour, baking soda and salt. When combined beat in chocolate chips and toffee bits.

    Scoop onto cookie sheets ( I do about a teaspoon of dough for each cookie). Bake at 350 degrees for about 8-10 minutes. (8 minutes was good in my oven).
