simple chocolate chip cookies

Not sure if I got this recipe out of a cook book or off the back of a bag of chocolate chips, but either way, its awfully good. The trick is using real butter and never margarine, at least in my opinion.

Ingredients For simple chocolate chip cookies

2 1/4 call purpose flour

1 tspbaking soda

1 tspsalt

1 c(2 sticks) butter, softened

3/4 cgranulated sugar

3/4 cwell packed brown sugar

1 tspvanilla extract
-
2large eggs
-
1(12 oz.) package semi-sweet chocolate morsels
How To Make simple chocolate chip cookies

1Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

2Combine flour, baking soda and salt in a small mixing bowl. Set aside.

3Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in a large mixer bowl until creamy.

4Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

5Gradually beat in flour mixture.

6Stir in chocolate morsels.

7Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet.

8Bake for 7 minutes or so.

9Cool on wire wracks.
