Ingredients For saltine toffee

saltine crackers - enough to cover the bottom of a jelly roll pan

1 cbutter
-
1 cbrown sugar

2 cchocolate chips

3/4 cchopped nuts
How To Make saltine toffee

1Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

2Grease a jelly roll pan, and line pan with saltine crackers in single layer.

3In a saucepan combine the sugar and the butter. Bring to a boil and boil for 3 minutes.

4Immediately pour over saltines and spread to cover crackers completely.

5Bake for 5 to 6 minutes.

6Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle chocolate chips over the top. Let sit for 5 minutes. Spread melted chocolate in an even layer. Top with chopped nuts.

7Cool completely and break into pieces.
