pumpkin chocolate chip cookies

I came up with this recipe years ago. It's my go-to pumpkin cookie and I'm always asked for the recipe. I make it every Christmas!
Blue Ribbon Recipe
These are the perfect cookies for the fall and the holidays as they make your kitchen smell of pumpkin spice while they cook. The cookies are more cake-like when baked and delicious. They have the perfect balance of spice with a touch of sweetness from the chocolate chips. We added walnuts and they gave the cookies a crunch. Powdered sugar on top is a great final touch and make them look fancy.
