Ingredients For pineapple nut cookies

  • 1/2 c
    shortening
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar
  • 1 c
    granulated sugar
  • 1
    egg, well beaten
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    baking soda
  • 2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/2 c
    drained, crushed pineapple
  • 1/2 c
    chopped walnuts
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla

How To Make pineapple nut cookies

    Heat oven to 375. Grease a baking sheet. Cream shortening with sugars and egg. In another bowl, add all dry ingredients together. Add pineapple to shortening mixture. Gradually add dry ingredients, vanilla and then nuts.

    Drop by teaspoonfuls onto baking sheet. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
