My mom always made these at Christmas time. They are similar to Mexican Wedding cakes.

Ingredients For pecan sticks

1 cbutter

2 1/2 cflour, sifted

1 cpecans, chopped

1 tspvanilla

1/2 csugar
-
1 cpowdered sugar (for rolling)
How To Make pecan sticks

1Cream butter, add sugar and rest of ingredients (except for powdered sugar).

2Mix well, roll into "sticks" about the size of your thumb. (I suppose that depends how big your thumbs are!)

3Bake at 250 degrees F. for 45 minutes.

4While hot, roll them in powdered sugar, let cool on rack
