We have made these bars in my family for years! I usually make them at Christmas time. But, as my son, Nick, says, "These shouldn't be just a cookie for Christmas!". They are super easy and delicious!

Ingredients For mom's seven layer bars

1/2 cunsalted butter

1 1/2 cfinely crushed graham crackers

6 oz(1 cup) semisweet chocolate chips

6 oz(1 cup) butterscotch pieces

1 1/2 cflaked coconut

1/2 cchopped walnuts
-
14 ozcan (1 1/3 cups) sweetened condensed milk
How To Make mom's seven layer bars

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2Melt butter; stir in crushed graham crackers. Pat crumb mixture evenly in bottom of an ungreased 13x9x2-inch baking pan. Layer, in order, chocolate pieces, butterscotch pieces, coconut, and walnuts. Pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over all.

3Bake in a 350 degree oven 30 minutes; cool. Cut into bars. Makes 36 to 48.
