Ingredients For jam filled butter cookies

3 csifted flour

1/2 tspsalt

1 1/4 cbutter

1 csugar

2eggs
-
2 Tbspvanilla

1/4 tspapricot preserves or any flavored jam or orange marmalade

1/3 cfinely chopped walnuts
How To Make jam filled butter cookies

1Sift flour and salt together.

2Cream butter and gradually add sugar, creaming well.

3Blend in unbeaten eggs and vanilla; beat well.

4Add the dry ingredients gradually; mix thoroughly.

5Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets.

6Dent center of each, using back of teaspoon dipped in cold water. Place preserves or jam into center of each. Sprinkle with nuts.

7Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
