Ingredients For peanut butter cookies-best ever

3/4 cpeanut butter, creamy (i use jif or kroger's)

1/2 cbutter flavor crisco

1 1/4 cbrown sugar, firmly packed

3 Tbspmilk

1 Tbspvanilla extract

1 lgegg

1 3/4 call purpose flour

3/4 tspbaking soda

1/2 tspsalt
How To Make peanut butter cookies-best ever

1Heat oven to 375^. Combine peanut butter, shortening, brown sugar, milk and vanilla in large bowl. Beat at medium speed with your electric mixer until well blended. Add egg. Beat just until blended.

2Combine flour, baking soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture at low speed. Mix just until blended.

3Drop by rounded measuring Tablespoon of dough 2 inches apart onto a lightly greased baking sheet.

4Flatten slightly in a crisscross pattern with the tines of a fork. Bake for 7 to 10 minutes or until set and just beginning to brown.

5Cool 2 minutes on baking sheet before removing to rack or paper to cool completely.
