1 cbutter, softened

2/3 csugar

2eggs

2 tspvanilla extract

2 tspbaking soda

2 2/3 call purpose flour

1 csemi-sweet chocolate chips
- FROSTING

1/2 cbutter, melted

2 Tbspcocoa powder, unsweetened

3 Tbspmilk

1 1/2 tspvanilla extract

2 3/4 cpowdered sugar
How To Make "cow patties" aka texas sheet cake cookies

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.

2Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs, vanilla, baking soda, and salt. Slowly add flour.

3Melt semi-sweet chocolate chips in the microwave, taking care to stir every 15 seconds to prevent burning.

4Mix melted chocolate chips in with the cookie batter.

5Drop by 1-2 tablespoons onto baking sheet. Bake for 7-8 minutes. *DO NOT OVERBAKE!* The perfect cookie will be crispy around the edges but soft and cake-like in the center!

6While cookies are cooling, mix all frosting ingredients using the low speed setting on your mixer.

7Once the cookies are cooled, pipe frosting onto them in a swirl pattern starting at the outside and working your way in.
