My secret ingredient is heavy cream. It makes the cookies so moist. It was an ingredient my mother always used in her cookies as well as crisco.

Ingredients For chocolate and peanut butter chip cookies

  • 1/2 c
    crisco shortening
  • 1/2 c
    butter
  • 2 lg
    eggs
  • 3/4 c
    sugar
  • 3/4 c
    brown sugar
  • 1/4 c
    heavy cream
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 2 3/4 c
    flour
  • 1 tsp
    each baking soda and salt
  • 6 oz
    chocolate chips
  • 6 oz
    peanut butter chips

How To Make chocolate and peanut butter chip cookies

    Preheat oven 375 degrees. Mix first 7 ingredients together beating with beaters until light and creamy.

    Add the flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix well.

    Stir in the chocolate and peanut butter chips.
  • 4
    Lightly spray a cooking sheet. Drop by tablespoons full onto sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes until browned.
