My all time favorite cookie are these cookies. They stay nice and chewy and have a wonderful buttery finish.

Ingredients For chewy oatmeal chocolate chip cookies

2 call purpose flour

1 tspbaking powder

1 tspbaking soda

1 tspsalt

1 cbutter, unsalted (softened to room temperature)

1 csugar

1 cfirmly packed dark brown sugar (make sure you use dark brown sugar or cookies will not be as chewy)

2 tspvanilla extract

2 lgeggs
-
3 coatmeal, uncooked

1 1/2 cchocolate chips (i prefer milk chocolate but up to you)

1 cchopped walnuts
How To Make chewy oatmeal chocolate chip cookies

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine dry ingredients flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and set aside. In a large bowl cream softened butter, sugar, dark brown sugar, eggs and vanilla until light and fluffy. Add about 1/3 of your dry ingredients and mix just until flour is no longer visisble. Then repeat until all flour mixture has been added. Stir in oatmeal, chips and walnuts.

2Using a cookie scoop drop onto ungreased cookie sheet about 2 inches apart. Bake for 11-12 minutes. Let cool on sheet for a couple of minutes before transferring them to cooling rack. Enjoy!
