This is a treasured recipe from my Mom passed down to me and now to my daughter and grandchildren. These cookies are wonderfully delicious and addictive. Feel free to substitute dried cranberries in place of the raisins if you prefer.

Ingredients For addictive oatmeal molasses cookies

1 3/4 call-purpose flour

1 tspbaking soda

1 tspbaking powder

1/2 tspsalt

1/2 tspcinnamon

2 crolled oats

1/2 cnuts (optional)

1 craisins
-
1/2 cunsalted butter, softened

1 1/4 csugar
-
2eggs, well beaten

6 Tbspmolasses

1Combine first 8 ingredients (flour through raisins) in a bowl and mix well.

2In a separate bowl, cream together the remaining 4 ingredients (butter through molasses) and mix with dry ingredients.

3Drop by teaspoonfuls on cookie sheet and bake at 325 degrees F. for 12-15 minutes.
