This is an old family's recipe - an ultimate chocolate rush. It's sweet, thick, gooey brownies topped with chocolate chips, toasted pecans, English toffee, and coconut. Over the years it has taken on many different versions; it's up to one's own imagination and taste buds. My mother always made her batch during the Christmas season (thus the name).

Blue Ribbon Recipe

Jen is right, these dessert bars are the ultimate chocolate rush. You'll want a tall glass of milk to help wash them down. There is so much great flavor and texture in each bite. Between the crisp chocolate crust, a smooth, creamy chocolate center and the crunchy pecans, coconut, and toffee bits on top, these bars are scrumptious. A fantastic addition to the holiday dessert table.
