This recipe is slightly modified from one I found on a Hershey's Cocoa container. The one thing you MUST do is use real butter! Do not substitute. These are the best brownies I have ever had.

Ingredients For easy does it brownies

  • 3/4 c
    unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 3
    eggs
  • 3/4 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/2 c
    cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 2/3 c
    semi sweet chocolate chips, melted

How To Make easy does it brownies

    Mix all ingredients except chocolate chips. Don't over mix, you can do this by hand, it's that easy.

    Pour into greased (sprayed) 9x9 square pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes.

    Remove from oven. Pour and spread melted chips on warm brownies. Chocolate will harden as it cools, if you can wait that long!
