A very easy pudding.

Ingredients For chocolate pudding

  • 1 qt
    milk
  • 1 1/2
    chocolate, unsweetened squares
  • 1/3 c
    sugar
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 2 Tbsp
    granulated gelatin
  • 3 Tbsp
    cold water

How To Make chocolate pudding

    Soak the gelatin in the cold water for 10 minutes.

    Meanwhile, put milk and chocolate in a double boiler. When the milk has reached the scalding point; beat the mixture with a whisk until smooth. Add sugar, salt and soaked gelatin.

    As soon as the gelatin has dissolved; strain mixture into a mold which has first been dipped in cold water. Chill, remove from mold, and cover with your choice of sauce.
