    vanilla extract
  • 1 c
    whole wheat pastry flour, or white whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 c
    sugar, or splenda
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/2 c
    skim milk (i used 2%)
  • 1 lg
    egg
  • 4 Tbsp
    butter, or equivalent butter substitute
  • GLAZE
  • 1/2 c
    powdered sugar
  • Tbsp
    skim milk (i used 2%)
  • sprinkles (optional)

How To Make mini baked glazed donuts

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix together all the wet ingredients in a small sauce pan using a whisk over medium heat until butter is melted but the mixture is still cool enough to touch,about 4-6 minutes. In a separate bowl,combine dry ingredients and use a whisk to mix thoroughly and sift the flour so there are no lumps. Add the wet ingredients to the dry to create a sticky dough.

    Using a donut pan,measure out a tablespoon of dough for each donut. Use a wet finger to smooth out the tops to create a nicer looking donut. Bake for 12-14 minutes. Mix together powdered sugar and skim milk with a whisk to form a glaze for your donuts. After the donuts are cooled,dip the tops into the glaze and then promptly shake sprinkles while the glaze is still wet.
