Everyone loves this salad so I guess I'll share the recipe

Ingredients For california tuna salad

  • 1 pkg
    pasta of choice, i like to use shells, but any shape will work
  • 1/2 c
    green pepper, shedded or chopped fine
  • 1/2 c
    carrots, shredded or chopped fine
  • 1 c
    miracle whip type dressing
  • 1/2 c
    creamy italian dessing,
  • 1/2 c
    catalina dressing
  • 1 tsp
    onion powder
  • 1 Tbsp
    chili powder
  • 2-3 can
    tuna, packed in water, drained

How To Make california tuna salad

  • 1
    cook pasta in salted water according to package direction, drain and cool running the under cool water.

    shred the carrots and green pepper, I use my salad shooter, but have used a food processor, also, place in large bowl. add the dressings and seasonings, mix well
  • 3
    add the tuna and fold into the dressing, next fold in the pasta, transfer to serving dish, keep refrigerated until serving and refrigerate any leftovers.
