This reminds me of my mother because my aunt made this one year for my birthday. I was going to college in South Carolina and my mother came up to visit my grandmother, aunt, and myself for a Mother's Day gift from my father.

Ingredients For strawberry supreme

2 stickbutter or margarine-softened

1 cchopped nuts (i use pecans of course)

2 cplain flour
- ***FILLING***

8 ozcream cheese-softened

3 csifted confectioner's sugar

2x9 oz**cool whip**

1 canprepared strawberry pie filling
- ***PREHEAT OVEN TO 350 DEGREES***
How To Make strawberry supreme

1Mix together: butter, nuts and flour. Place in an ungreased 10x14 pan. Bake at 350* for 15-20 minutes (until crust is light brown). Let cool.

2Cream together: cream cheese and confectioner's sugar. Fold in both cartons of *cool whip*. Spread this mixture over cooled crust.

3Take the pie filling and spread over the cream cheese mixture. Place in refrigerator and let set for at least 4 hours. Better if made the day before.
