Ingredients For strawberry shortcake by granny

    butter
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1/2 c
    milk
  • 1 3/4 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 3 tsp
    baking powder
  • 3/4 tsp
    vanilla

How To Make strawberry shortcake by granny

    Cream butter, sugar and eggs. Add remainder. Pour into a greased and flowered pan.

    Bake 350 degrees, 25 to 30 minutes.

    Cut fresh strawberries, and add sugar to taste. Pour heaping spoonful on top of cake, and top with whipping cream.
