I had an idea for some things in the pantry and made this cake last night. We loved it and hope that you will too.

While this pumpkin apple cinnamon caramel cake is baking you can't help but think of fall. This recipe stars with a boxed pumpkin cake mix that gets jazzed up with apples and cinnamon chips. The apples make the cake very moist. Drizzling melted caramel candies over the top is a delicious final touch.

1 boxpumpkin cake mix, plus ingredients per the box (15.25 oz)

1 mdapple, peeled and chopped into small chunks

1/2 - 3/4 ccinnamon chips

1 ccaramel bits, can use caramels

2 tspwater
How To Make pumpkin apple cinnamon caramel cake

1Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Mix cake mix as directed on the box.

2Stir in apple chunks and cinnamon chips.

3Pour into a greased and floured Bundt pan.

4Bake for about 40-45 minutes, until toothpick comes out clean.

5Cool for 20 minutes in the pan.

6Turn out onto a serving platter.

7Melt caramel with water in the microwave until pouring/drizzling consistency, about 90 seconds).

8Pour over the cooled cake.
