The poppy seeds may be omitted... It's still a great pound cake; even without them... but don't forget the extracts for flavor!

Ingredients For poppy seed -or not- pound cake

  • 1 box
    yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 3/4 c
    canola oil
  • 1 c
    sour cream
  • 4
    eggs
  • 1 tsp
    almond flavoring
  • 1 tsp
    butter flavoring
  • 1/4 c
    poppy seeds

How To Make poppy seed -or not- pound cake

    Mix all the ingredients.

    Bake for 1 hour at 350* in a bundt pan or tube pan.

    Let cool at least 10 minutes before removing from pan... Enjoy!
