Ingredients For orange butter frosting for cakes

  • 1/4 c
    soft butter
  • 2 c
    sifted icing sugar
  • 2 tsp
    grated orange zest
  • 1/2 tsp
    lemon extract
  • 3 Tbsp
    orange juice

How To Make orange butter frosting for cakes

  • 1
    Cream butter until fluffy. Gradually add 1 c. icing sugar.
  • 2
    Add flavourings. Beat thoroughly. Add remaining sugar and orange juice alternately continuing to beat well until smoothly combined. Spread on cake.
